WATCH DOCS. Human Rights in Film is an international documentary film festival with a seven year tradition. Between 7 and 16 December 2007 another edition will take place in Warsaw. The festival, organized by The Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights (HFHR), is meant to be a special form of public education which uses the universal language of film to promote the idea of human right among the wider audience.

Since 2003 the festival has also had its traveling edition. This years’ edition has been already presented in 19 Polish cities and Vilnius in Lithuania. In Krakow the festival WATCH DOCS. Human Rights in Film will be held for the third time. Last year’s edition attracted more than 3000 viewers.

The 5th Traveling Film Festival WATCH DOCS. Human Rights in Film will be held in Krakow from 15 to 18 November 2007. The main festival venue will be Kino Pod Baranami.

As many as 66 documentary films grouped in 12 thematic sections will be shown during the festival. The screenings of films will be accompanied by meetings and discussions with scientists, experts and social activists.

Admission to all the film screenings and accompanying events is FREE!

Free entry tickets can be collected in Kino Pod Baranami from Monday, November 12.
