Dokument Dissidence śledzi ich niezwykłą drogę – ze ścianek wspinaczkowych w ojczyźnie do legendarnych rejonów skałkowych we Francji. | Two unexpected names are emerging on the stage of the Climbing World Championships: Ravianto and Raviandi Ramadhan, twin brothers from Indonesia. With nothing but their own resources, these young climbers crossed the globe, driven by their dream.

THE BRIDE OF MONT BLANC

W ramach historycznej rekonstrukcji Elise Wortley zakłada XIX-wieczny suknię, podkute buty i kapelusz, aby oddać hołd zapomnianym przez świat kobietom-odkrywczyniom. Ich nieobecność w dziejach do dziś niesie za sobą poważne konsekwencje. Wyposażona wyłącznie w sprzęt, jakim dysponowała Henriette d’Angeville w 1838 roku, Elise próbuje odtworzyć drugie w historii – ale pierwsze w pełni samodzielne – kobiece wejście na Mont Blanc. Chce zrozumieć, dlaczego kobiety są nieobecne w kronikach górskiej eksploracji.
Wyprawa staje się dla Elise także okazją do zbadania własnej relacji z górami, które odegrały przełomową rolę w jej długiej walce z wyniszczającymi stanami lękowymi. Dokument jest dziełem wyłącznie kobiecej ekipy – od reżyserki i przewodniczek górskich, aż po zespół postprodukcyjny.
| In a profound act of historical resurrection, modern-day adventurer Elise Wortley straps on her 19th-century hobnail boots and bonnet to celebrate history’s forgotten female explorers, whose absence from history continues to have knock on effects today. Armed only with the gear available to Henriette d’Angeville in 1838, Elise attempts to recreate the first female ascent of Mont Blanc — Europe’s most iconic peak to understand the lack of female representation in the mountains. In doing so she also explores her own relationship with the outdoors and how its impacted a long battle with debilitating anxiety. This film was made by an entire female crew from the director, mountain guides through to all post-production. It is part of the project “Woman with Altitude. Following Forgotten Women Adventurers”.

Tawan Bogd, czyli „Pięć Świętych Gór”, to miejsce otoczone legendami. Camille Armand, Pierre Hourticq i Victor Daviet wyruszają tam napędzani tą samą pasją – miłością do nart, snowboardu i odkrywania dzikich, nieznanych zakątków świata. Przez dwa tygodnie wyprawy ich domem w sercu mongolskiego interioru będzie tradycyjna jurta. Przed nimi eksploracja dziewiczych terenów. Ale czego tak naprawdę szukają w tych górach?
| This film takes us deep into the Tavan Bogd massif, nestled in the Mongolian Altai Mountains. Camille Armand, Pierre Hourticq, and Victor Daviet share a common passion — not only for the mountains, but also for exploring remote and unfamiliar lands. Tavan Bogd — literally “The Five Sacred Mountains” — refers to a group of peaks steeped in symbolism and legend.For two weeks, a yurt will serve as their base camp, allowing them to explore this little-known massif on skis and snowboards. But what are they really looking for in these mountains?

Kurtyna w górę – spektakl czas zacząć.
| After 15 years of competing at the highest level worldwide, taking them to the top of the podium, Tristan and Louna Ladevant are exploring and developing a more artistic approach to their discipline: ice climbing. With dance as the backdrop to their artistic expression and the waterfall lit up in the middle of the night like the stage of a theatre, the performance can begin.
