| In 1991, the European Basketball Championships are held in Rome, and the Yugoslav national team – one of the best teams in the sport’s history – is fighting for another gold medal. At the same time, political tensions are mounting in their country, which will soon lead to its break-up and war. Archival footage and interviews with legendary players create a multi-dimensional portrayal of the team standing on the podium and watching the raising of flag of the country that has just ceased to exist. A poignant story of friendship, it also demonstrates how politics can tear apart people who, until recently, played on the same team.
